Equra Health, a leading service provider of cancer care in Africa, is pleased to announce the appointment of Eckert Giliomee as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with immediate effect. The role reports to Dr Khaya Gobinca, CEO of Equra Health.

Eckert brings with him a wealth of experience, having served as Group Financial Director of Control Instruments Group Ltd, and has been Executive Director of the company since 2009. Prior to that, he served as Financial Director of Pi Shurlok in Pietermaritzburg; Acting Financial Director and Financial Manager of CI OmniBridge (now part of MiX Telematics); and Financial Manager at Control Instruments Group Ltd.

Equra Health take part in Cancer awareness event that raises R170 000 for care home

The annual CANSA Relay for Life event was held in the pouring rain in KZN this year and despite the wet weather, was hailed as a success by participants and organisers.

On a rainy night in February, when most people would have preferred to snuggle up in front of the telly at home, hundreds of people braved miserable conditions to participate in the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) annual Relay for Life event, held this year at Pitlochry Senior Primary School in Westville, Durban.
