Tim Willard is the newly appointed CEO of Equra Health, South Africa’s leading provider of radiation therapy.
Tim commenced his career within the Health Care portfolio of Johnson & Johnson in 1993. From here he progressed through the ranks of various product and related management services roles within Southern Africa and abroad, culminating as a senior general manager with Adams, a division of Pfizer.In 2003, he joined a research/IT start up as shareholder and director, building this business to be acquired by global research house, Synovate (now IRI) in 2007. Post-acquisition, he was appointed managing director for the African operation. He continued to serve in this capacity through to 2011, exiting to start a boutique management consultancy providing strategy and related services to a range of organisations across various industries. These have included Coca Cola, the Foschini Group, Oceana Group, Rhodes Foods Group, Investec, Standard Bank, and BDO Worldwide.
Tim holds a BBusSc(Hons) from the University of Cape Town and Executive MBA from UCT Graduate School of Business.
He serves as Trustee of the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital Trust and the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Tim will join the team on 1 August 2016 and will be appointed to the Equra Health board.
